Who we are

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt!

FAM-IT has an acute understanding of the unique challenges faced by non-profit organizations in managing their stakeholders.  We also know how challenging it is to balance the needs of 'business as usual' with development work, while keeping staff engaged and motivated.

We have the skills and experience to provide the 'missing piece' to complete  your team and get stuff done.  We're equally comfortable helping secure buy-in from senior decision-makers as we are in rolling our sleeves up to help with the hard graft of data migration!

Fam-it has been created by David Eder, a NFP professional with a 30 year background in fundraising, volunteer, data and project management and qualifications in Fundraising Management (Chartered Institute of Fundraising), Project Management (Prince2) and Requirements Engineering (BCS - The  Chartered Institute for IT).

David has worked with a wide range of charity and membership organisations over the years, including Age UK, RNLI, WWF, Save the Children, Marie Curie, Cystic Fibrosis Trust, British Diabetic Association, RAF Benevolent Fund, The Scouting Association, ABDO, Friends of the Earth, CATS Protection, Blue Cross, Teenage Cancer Trust, The Royal College of Psychiatrists, IChemE, ILFM and RoSPA.

Through his consultancy work and support of the (now Chartered) Institute of Fundraising (as Chair of the Technology Group and trustee) David has also built up a formidable network of supplier contacts across the NFP and Tech Sector.

Fam-it is David Eder at time of writing, but he does love a pun - so the company name reflects his wish to keep working with the fantastic 'family' of friends and colleagues he's built up over the years.  If he can't immediately help you  - he can probably introduce you to someone who can!
